Longs Drugs v.s. Cvs pharmacies

WHERE EVERYBODY SAVES

Since Longs Drugs  was acquired by C.v.s.the population / foot traffic has become a lot  less -Way more then it would be for Longs.
Longs would have the parking lots semi full to nearly full to  nearly to practically full no matter the way the economy was.
That is one of many things that separates Longs from many of the other ( Drug Retailers ) - Both in , out of the west coast.
 It was never that hard for many stores of Longs to get a good to large number of foot traffic in each of their stores , with that it has helped the stores next to or across the street from each Longs Drug store - Be that of a Safeway or Lucky's or any other store that is not in the same retail industry as Longs is in.
And when it came to the Retailers in the same industry as Longs those retailers would have a slight to total tougher time  then Longs did , at different times , there were they nearly got close to the amount of foot traffic as Longs has been getting no matter what type of week or sale with in that week that each of them have had.

Even when I worked at each of the stores I have noticed that more so in each different location even at the ones that I would shop at on my days off , when Id go right by many that I have seen the foot traffic be more extensive  then the other drug retailers have had.

Now with C.v.s. at the helm in the west coast they are gradually seeing that & even with each sale that they  put in circulation it does not do much at all for them to pull in any large number of people in each of the stores thus they would have had a better chance with merging with Longs Drugs Stores with Longs still in California & the Hawaiian  Islands  , the many other states that Longs was in.
If the corporate office of C.v.s re-looks at the letters that letters that I sent to them during the changing hands process that I have given them that idea where Longs would still be in the very buildings that the stores were housed in , with that C.v.s would have their own stores housed in buildings not being used by Longs , what they can start out in the Larger buildings of Longs with Longs still housed by the same building where the signage would say Longs Drugs & C.v.s pharmacies or > Longs Drugs / C.v.s. pharmacies C.v.s. would pay for their own signage payments, itemization situations with their own money , Longs would pay for their own things as well, as time rolls through C.v.s would re-house their stores in buildings that are not being used by Longs or any other retailer.
Then each of the two would be able help one another while in the constant competition with the other retailers both in , out of the retail industry.
With that with as many people coming in to California there would be a fair to moderate percentage of those who relocate to California to start would choose their own drug retailer that they themselves would would trust or like being in the pharmacy or item or sales sense.
With that Longs Drugs loyal customers would not lose their favorite , trusting store that they frequent  , who ever decides to frequent C.v.s they can do so as well.
Longs would then still be around , able to expand even bigger , C.v.s would be able to cover parts that they have not been able to as well even in the western market of retail.
But obviously  C.v.s did not see it that way they want to act as if they are the better retailer over all the others to start with.
That can be seen as a version of Wal-Mart  of  what C.v.s is doing , acting.
In reality the better retailer be that of any retailer in any retail industry would not be sued three times in the three separate years since they were in business as C.v.s was to where they are considered  the better retailer.
Longs Drugs has already taken that spot in being the better retailer starting with in the ( Drug Retailing industry) -  ...
Longs Drugs  has been the number one ( Drug Retailer ) - In California & the Hawaiian Islands to start.
That meaning since 1938 in California Longs Drugs Stores the  (#1 Drug Retailer )

Since the 1950's when Longs put its first store in the Hawaiian Islands Longs became the ( #1 Drug Retailer )  - In the Hawaiian Islands-...

Though pertaining  to the east coast in various parts of the east coast retail market its been Pay Less Drugs Stores, Walgreen's , Rite Aid - & At the very bottom would be C.v.s pharmacies , the reason for that is they have damaged their reputation by selling expired items three separate years , with that being sued that many times in those same years & paying people in the law suites off so that they can try to act as if they are free of blame , so that they think by doing that they can act as if they have no bad record of any sort , for any reason.
They will not say that in all to anyone who asks that question.

Longs  Drugs is wanted by many in many states that the stores were in starting with those in the state of California being the very state that it began in on: May , 12th 1938 ...
So we need to make it clear to C.v.s with out harming any lives , with out any violence, with out any illegal things or practices of any sort or kind , type.
There is a way that we can tell them , show them.

     Longs Drugs stores has been apart of the state of California since the two brothers also known as the founders of < Longs Drugs Stores > starting from when they opened the very first store in Oakland ,California - On: Piedmont Avenue & 40th - On: May 12th , 1938- Before it was re- named as Longs Drugs it was known as : Longs ( Self Service ) Drugs...

That very first store is the very store that you see on this blog in the photo above the wording in this blog.

I know that it would not have been the choice of the founders Tom & Joe Long - To put the company , its stores up for sale as the president of the company did in 2008.

Over the years after the very first store was opened Longs has become a house hold name since then.
It should remain that way, to keep it going we must get Longs Drugs Stores  back in the very state that it started in, that state again is California.

And after that it will gradually get back the very locations that it had from   the beginning , as it expanded across the state. 

And it will gradually grow in the states that Longs was in besides its home state of California- &
 As it does that it will remain in the Hawaiian Islands... 

It  was a very bad thing that the president of Longs did in 2008- He did a major dis-service to the founders Tom & Joe Long , to the company , its stores , to the customers of Longs Drugs Stores- by selling it to another retailer that is in the same industry as Longs is  in all he did a major dis- Service by selling the company , its stores in all.
Longs was not hurting in any way at all in fact they were doing a lot better then Rite Aid , Walgreen's , many other retailers as well. 
 There was no real , logical reason to sell the company , its stores at all. 
If that one person was so tired of  being the president of the company , its stores then he could have stepped down , allowed another person to carry on the founders legacy , more, keep the stores running , if at all expand the company even bigger then it was then.

That is a true statement even today  Longs Drugs stores began in California  & it should remain in this state , with that Longs expanded in to other states over the years , they should remain there as well.
C.V.S. can stay in California but first they must give Longs back to California , the loyal longs customers , employees like myself, give all its original buildings back to Longs as well.

I have worked for three stores of Longs , before that I read about Longs in the 50th Anniversary book that I still have , it  more then inspired when I read about the founders , the company & what made it where I wanted to work for , at Longs Drugs..
When I did at the age of 16 on up I carried on the legacy , more of the founders , what they have done in making Longs what it was , still can be.
When I worked at the three stores I kept the legacy , the tradition of caring alive , strong & help Longs continue with the excellent service that Longs has done more then once in its years of business.
And with the tribute video that I have the link to on here is another way to keep the legacy , remembrance  of the founders alive , strong , to help keep Longs going strong . longer lasting. 
If Longs was still in California in what in business would be considered its birth state Id still work at Longs Drugs Stores to continue the tradition of Caring , to carry , keep the legacy of the brothers/ founders of Longs Drugs on going , strong .

Longs Drugs Stores was known as a house held name , with that Longs was a family oriented  company , store.
Longs has had many true , strong logos or sayings , many of them were:

That was just a short number of them that I know of that they have had , used over the years , I know that there may have been many others before those.

Longs Drugs Stores: Was the number one store in California in the Drug Retail industry , over the years it became the that in many other states starting with Arizona , Nevada , Oregon , beyond , its still staying that in the Hawaiian Islands.

I am known by many of my friends as a: Longs Drugs Store Historian & that is another way that I have been able to keep the legacy , remembrance of the founders Tom & Joe Long , of Longs Drugs Stores , the Tradition of Caring , more alive , strong.

You will be able to see that in many of my other blogs that I made starting with  my blog that i titled: Longs Drugs Stores History from: 1938 - 1988...

There are two sections to it on that blog top to bottom as you scroll down as you read it you will see that.

Longs Drugs , its founders will not be forgotten , I know that they are looking down in a spiritual sense , unhappy that the President of Longs in 2008 put their company , stores up for  sale , I am doing what I know they would want to be done to bring Longs Back to California , help grow it bigger then it was , I  know that they are more then happy that I have all of what I read , know of , about the company , what they did to start the company , the real reasons of why they started the company , more .

I know that when Longs Drugs is brought back , put back in operation/ in business...

So I again ask , say that we must bring back Longs Drugs Stores now , this time keep it around longer then it was in other words lets correct a stupid mistake that the President of Longs Drugs did in 2008, we can show him that we need to keep the legacy , remembrance of the founders Tom & Joe Long alive ,strong & also keep the tradition of caring alive , strong , on going as well, while we do that we can keep the excellent  service strong & on going as well.

Many have said that they want Longs Drugs Stores back , with that since C.V.S  Pharmacies has taken it over they have screwed up royally one by leaving the building that Longs founders opened the Longs store in the Bird Cage shopping Center in Citrus Heights , California , many other things they have screwed up on , with that since C.v.s has taken over I have found that the population in many parts of California do not shop there since Longs was taken over that meaning Longs has had their parking lots more packed in more so then C.v.s. has had it since they have been in California to start with so it is more then Logical to give Longs Drugs Stores back to California , many other states that the stores have operated in.
Another way of putting it is that there has been way more foot traffic when Longs was around no matter the way the economy was , has been over the many years Longs was around starting from the very first store that the founders of Longs Drugs Stores: Tom & Joe Long opened the very first store In Oakland, California -On: Piedmont Avenue & 40th -On: May , 12th 1938...
With that Longs has been the only company , store that has considered its customers , its employees part of the Longs Drugs Store Family -...
No other retailer has done that Longs is the only one that has done that.
